Honorable Barry Goldwater asked us in writing if
he could write the introduction to our Jimmie Angel
biography; there is a reason why Lowell Thomas
requested that my father to go on tour with him;
why Don Montague wrote that my father's article on
Jimmie Angel was his most popular article ever;
why Marie Angel became so attached to my
parents that she dumped volumes of information on
them and granted several interviews; why the
famed orchidologist and former president of shell,
G.C.K. "Stalky" Dunsterville -and his lovely wife,
Nora- sent us thousands of dollars at times when
our research depleted the family funds; why
Virginia Angel and Patricia and Helen Starliper
expressed her undying love for my mom and dad,
and supported us with prayers and gifts of love
after my sister, Melanie, was killed; why Virginia
Angel allowed us to live in her home for 6 months,
granted my mother and father the only interviews
she ever allowed about her husband, Jimmie
Angel, emptied an entire garage of Angel
memorabilia upon us, and like so many others,
became lifelong friends of our family; there is a
reason why Gustavo Heny, Felix Cardona, Dr.
Carlos Freeman and so many others welcomed my
mother and father into their homes, expressed in
writing how they had hoped that it would be the
Eversole family who wrote the biography of Jimmie
Angel. You may view this evidence of all I have
written in this paragraph on our website. I'll be
uploading the proof presently. There is a reason
why all these people offered us everything they
ever collected on Jimmie Angel and remained
lifelong friends and deserving of our absolute love
until their deaths.
We have personal letters from all of our contacts
proving our honorable associations, and can
produce them readily for anyone to know. Virginia
Angel, Marie Angel, Pat and Helen Starliper, and
Nora and Stalky Dunsterville wrote us letters
almost weekly for years after our visits.
